the presentation is more about the audience than the slideshow.
I can make a presentation easier on the audience's eyes by using light color fonts on a dark backgrounds. The color choice makes it more attractive and the Helvetica font is easier to read at a distance.

Finally, I can answer questions as an encore to the presentation. I can first anticipate questions that audience might have and prepare slides for those. Then, I can have a Question & Answer time to answer questions that I didn't anticipate.

I like your opening sentence, it is more about the audience than the presentation. I think that can ease stress on the presenter if they keep that in mind. For me, designing a simple but catchy presentation would be less stressful. Focusing more on what I am saying to my audience will make sure I am actually presenting and not just reading slides.
ReplyDeleteJames,
ReplyDeleteLike Amy, I loved your opening sentence. The presentation is definitely more about the audience's interests and needs than the slideshow itself. I also like what you said about answering questions, especially at the end of the presentation. I think that is a great way to connect to the audience and make yourself seem personable. Looking back on the presentation that I created in our last assignment, I did not include a question/answer session. In the future, I will do so!
